Teaching

I teach how to read, design, and think about cities — connecting spatial form with human experience and environmental logic.

Item 1

My teaching focuses on urban design as a bridge between architecture, planning, and everyday life. I lead courses, lectures, and workshops that explore how cities grow, adapt, and express collective identity through form.

In my classes, students learn analytical and design methods such as typomorphological urban analysis, gender-responsive design, and large-scale spatial strategy. I emphasize understanding context — cultural, social, and ecological — as the foundation for any design decision.

I teach across universities and professional programs, including the Master in Advanced Urban Regeneration (MAUR) and the Master in Advanced Ecological Buildings and Biocities (MAEBB) at IAAC, among others. Each program is an opportunity to connect theory with real-world urban challenges and to shape a new generation of designers capable of thinking systemically about the city.
